While advancing Spirit, and human spirituality are central to this site's purpose, DarkMother.com does not adhere to an anthorpomorphic view of Wisdom*, nor of any Aspect of the Divine. Divine Spirit manifests Itself to all beings everywhere according to Its perfect Understanding of the best manner for that manifestation, relative to the nature, galactic, and planetary locality, and other aspects of the beings to/for/within whom the manifestation occurs. We experience the Divine Spirit as feminine in quality, activity, and expression. Therefore, as King Solomon did, we feel it is most appropriate to use female pronouns, and relevant associations to communicate about this Aspect of Divine Being. As the Source of all, Wisdom is "the Great Mother." Within the Abyss, the utter depths of our consciousness, that place within us where it's so dark the proverbial sun doesn't shine, the Holy Spirit is omnipresent there as "the Dark Mother", (frequently referred to as "the Dark Goddess"). Our hope is that, through this site, She is shining brightly, illuminating our way, and nurturing us through the transformations entailed in progressing through, and ascending from, and beyond such depths.

About The Dark Mother

The "Dark Mother" is a term most commonly associated with [ideations of the Divine whom (primarily) pagans regard as] Dark Goddesses, ruling over, and facilitating the processes of Transformation relative to Life, Death, and Rebirth. Much of the emphasis in such associations is upon Her Presence, and communication with the individual during her/his experience(s) of "Death passages" or seasons of deep, intense, personal transformation that leave her/him remarkably different from the person he/she was before transiting those passages. Many experiences in life engender Death passages, i.e. depression, loss of one's love interest or job, mid-life crisis, childbirth, divorce, moving to a new city 1000 miles away (or even a new home across town), training for the Olympics and, especially, the dynamics of mortal death, and dying.  Throughout all Death passages, particularly in those heaviest for us to bear, the Presence of Wisdom is immediately available to us all in the deepest, darkest levels of our being. Bearing Light, She meets us there as the Mother of our spirits, as Comforter, Nurturer, Nourisher, Teacher, Companion, Friend, Protectress, Helper, Guide, and more. As the Dark Mother, (the Mother in our dark cycles), Wisdom embraces, nurtures, and nourishes us, Being omnipresent with us throughout our seasons of personal Abyss. Furthermore, She is the One who activates, and teaches us how to use our higher mental, and psychic faculties, even our inherent supernatural Nature, and abilities, thus enabling us to experience holistic healing, rebirth, and transcendence beyond the inner obstacles hindering us from living our most dynamic, powerful, and blessed lives.

DarkMother.com's work and web site are designed to emphasize, and to be a practical manifestation of Wisdom in Her role as the Dark Mother, all inclusively, and irrespective of any particular Dark Goddess persona ascribed to Her*. Accordingly, we provide Music, and software facilitating the activity of (and union with) Wisdom, in all Her Aspects, as well as the edification, and preservation of Life, the navigation of natural death, and Death passages, and the process of Rebirth on the deepest levels of the personal microcosm; physically/materially, psychically/astrally, mentally and spiritually.  

Yeah, it IS deep!

Many [New Testament-oriented] Christians will have a problem with the Holy Spirit being regarded, and referred to as Feminine. If you're one of them, we invite you to grow beyond that limitation--Holy Spirit is not concerned about whether one relates to It as Her, or Him; that's why the Holy Bible refers to Spirit as both! That One's Nature is both Feminine, and Masculine. What issues from this company comes by way of the Holy Spirit, through one who walks in Covenant with God, through the Anointed One, (Christ Jesus), in the Anointing; she also happens to live in intimate relationship with the Feminine Nature of the Holy Spirit, the Feminine Divine, in accordance with the Aspect of Wisdom commonly known as the Dark Mother, as She is above, and herein illuminated. This company is part of Her(/His) fruit; it's from All, for all--enjoy it!
